Velez-Malaga March 2023-Third part

Eigtht Day- 12th March- Family Day

Today being Sunday we all went with our families, so I will tell you my personal experience.

For breakfast I ate some delicious Churros then me Marìa (the girl who hosts me) and her mother got ready and went to visit one of the historical monuments of Venéz the Cerro from there you could see all of Velez-Malaga! and immediately after the Convent of San Francisco, casa Cervantes, mercado di San Francisco and finally Palacio di Peniel.

Peturned home for a short stop to leave again for the Italian restaurant by the sea!

After eating Maria and I went for a walk, to then meet up with her parents.

In the afternoon Maria introduced me to one of her friends and we stayed with her all afternoon.

When I came home I took a shower and ate.

After getting into the car with the family who's hosting me, we headed northeast of Velez-Malaga around 10 in the morning to go to the "campo," which is a spanish word that means "campagna" in italian. Along the way, I saw many fields of avocado and mango trees, as well as some of the important peaks of Velez. When we arrived at our destination, a small house surrounded by fields, we set up the grill and table for lunch. We played soccer all afternoon and then went to say hello to Ramiro's grandparents in Arenas, a small town with a population of 1000. Finally, we returned home around 8:30 pm.

Today, after sleeping a little more than the other days, I went with the family that hosts me to take a walk on the beach.

For lunch they took me to a restaurant, EL PANTANO, where they say that the meat is delicious... and so it was! As a dessert we took the NATILLAS.

In the afternoon I went to grandpa’s house, where I played several games, table tennis, darts, basketball, canned games...

From the terrace with the pool I admired a beautiful sunset!

On Sunday I got up early to go to the café with the family and we had Churros with chocolate and afterwards we went home. I spent all morning drawing on the swing until it was time to eat lunch. After lunch we went to the Malaga tower near the beach and I played with the boys I was with as a family. In the evening we stayed home and watched a movie in Italian with English subtitles, it was really nice.

Ninth Day- 13th March- Erasmus ceremony

On Monday morning we went to school and continued with our projects and then went for a motor class. After lunch, we all met in a nice bar and had a snack with crêpes, milk, frappe… and then went to school around 6 for a small thank you party and awards. Each one of us obtained an Erasmus certificate and we gave each family a rose to thank them for their kindness and hospitality. After all the thanks we had a nice buffet consisting of biscuits, cakes and juices. then we boys went out into the garden to play and let off steam. After this we all went to the park and played and danced and then dyed our hair purple with a semi-permanent dye. we continued to play and then we all went to our respective houses to have dinner and sleep. I liked this day a lot.

Tenth Day- 14th March- Nerja Cave

We left school by bus at 8.30 and arrived at about 9.00, we didn't start the visit right away: first we stopped to eat a snack.

As soon as we entered they provided us with an audio guide and at the end of the tour we stopped in the souvenir shop.

After that we went to the city and had 1 hour free.

We went back to school and went home.

In the afternoon we met in the shopping center and at 8.00 we all had dinner together.

Back home I finished the suitcase.

It was a beautiful last day in Spain.

Eleventh Day- 15th March- Come back to Italy

Like the other days, we arrived at school at 8:30 where we found our classmates. It was the presentation day for our works; from 8:30 to 10:30 4 groups exhibited their work. At 10:30, Italians with the Spanish moved to another structure, where until 11:30 we carried out three different jobs to get to know and learn to respect disabled people, working with them. After a 30-minute break, the remaining groups presented their work. Having collected our backpacks and suitcases, we waited for our friends in front of the exit. They arrived at 1.45pm, and after crying and saying goodbye, we went out the gate to wait for the bus, which arrived about 20 minutes later. Once we arrived at the airport and carried out all the checks, we boarded the plane. In about 2 hours we were in Italy, where we took three minibuses from the airport to Erba, where everyone returned home. Our exciting experience ended with this day.
